The investment signifies a major step forward in the disruption of the student rental market and is set to supercharge strategic expansion plans

Housr emerged from a challenge that I (like every other student) faced during first year - the abrupt transition from the sheltered environment of uni halls to the unknown terrain of the private rental market.
Realising the lack of simple solutions, the Housr concept was born as an all-in-one platform catering to every student housing need; facilitating everything from property searches to house viewings and rental agreement signings.
Housr is rapidly emerging as one of the most disruptive forces in the industry, building a vibrant community that relies on the app for all their housing, bill management, discount, and student event needs.
As Housr's CEO, I'm dedicated to propelling Housr to the forefront of an otherwise outdated market.

Frustrated with the laborious nature of Student Housing back when I was a Fresher at University, I couldn't believe there wasn't a student-friendly mobile app to help students through this process.
After discussing the issue with Harry over a beer, Housr was born. A graduate in History, I quickly pivoted into becoming a Software Engineer and spent some time in industry before becoming Housr's CTO. Housr is my first venture, and what a learning curve it has been! I'm thoroughly enjoying every second, and I'm incredibly excited about our rapidly expanding future.
