Where UoN is based

The main University of Nottingham campus is University Park, which covers around 300 acres on the western edge of the city. It's where the bulk of undergraduate teaching takes place, along with the Students' Union, sports facilities, and several halls of residence.

Getting to key hubs from UoN

Nottingham city centre: buses from the student areas into the centre run frequently, with several operators covering the main routes. The NET tram is another option from some parts of the city, and the fare adds up to less than a pound a day if you go for the student tram ticket.

Nottingham train station: bang in the middle of the city, so getting there from Lenton or Dunkirk is a quick bus or tram ride. If you travel home a lot, it's worth grabbing a 16–25 Railcard early on.
